"it's been said that everlasting friends can go long periods of time without speaking and never question the friendship. These types of friends pick up like they just spoke yesterday, regardless of how long its been, or how far away they live and they don't hold a grudge. They understand that life is busy but that you will ALWAYS love them."
Ellen was such a big part of my life for so many years and even though we have not spoken in awhile, i know she was that kind of friend, very understanding. I just hope she knew how much she meant to me, and always will. She will truly be missed.

Friends are the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes it's just enough to know that they are standing by.
Wooooof!, you were that pillar on my porch.
I will love you and miss you always.
Meooooow!

I always said that my good friend David married UP.Ellen seemed to be by Davids side when he needed her support and on the side lines when he didn't.
Ellen was always the first to offer a kind word or personal assistance if you were in need. I can't remember her ever having a bad day.
She was the proud Mom of two beautiful, intelligent daughters that I had the privledge of watching them meet life's challenges under the tutelage of their loving parents.
Ellen made the world a better place and we will all notice the void her passing creates. God bless the Saltzman family and hold them close to his heart.
We will miss you Ellen.

Dear Saltzmans,
Words cannot express the void we feel here in the Marketing Communications department and all Miami Dade College. Many of us have not stopped crying since we heard the news of Ellen's passing. Mama Saltzman was the consummate professional and incredibly appreciated by all her college clients. Personally, as you know, Ellen was more than an employee or colleague -- she was a friend. She helped me during some very difficult times and was always there to offer me her sage advice, as the great working wife and mother she was. I will miss her so very, very much -- she has left many incredibly happy memories etched in my head and my heart that I will treasure forever. We will pray for your beautiful family -- you and those girls she was so incredibly proud of -- and I know she's looking down from heaven and is pleased to know how loved she was by ALL of us.
All my love,
Irene G. Munoz
