Born in Florence County, Frank was the son of the late Senator James P. “Spot” Mozingo and the late Mary Catherine Lever. Mr. Mozingo graduated from Francis Marion University and served in the United States Air Force and the South Carolina National Guard. Frank was formerly employed by the Darlington City Water Department. He was a member of Vision Assembly.
Survivors include his former wife, Brenda W. Mozingo; two sons, Frank (Linda) Mozingo, Jr. of Hartsville, John M. “Marty” Mozingo of Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Chelsey R. Mozingo, Casey N. Mozingo, both of Darlington; four grandsons, Francis Lee Mozingo, III, John Alston Mozingo, Neil Berberich, Adam Berberich; two brothers, Dr. James P. Mozingo, IV of Darlington and T. Aladdin Mozingo of Florence.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandy Mozingo and a brother, William Mozingo, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday night at Belk Funeral Home and other times at the home of Alexander Mozingo, 117 Columbian Street, Darlington.
