Loosing you was a hard and tearful time as was when you left for Vietnam. I remember the tearful event with Mom as we watched you out of the window as you boarded the airplane. But we were so lucky that God sent you home to all of us. Now I know you are with him in peace with Mom and family. I miss you little brother.

George and I worked together at WVDP. He was always genuine in his demeanor and was not one to sugar coat his words. I'll always remember a conversation we had as we each approached retirement. He said his idea of retirement was sitting, fishing with a beer in hand, but no bait on his hook; it would be too much like work to check and change it. My condolences and healing prayers to the family.
Rest in Heaven George!!

My sympathies to the Family of George. He worked for me for 5 years at the West Valley Demonstration Project. But he was a friend, too. He always was a steadying influence, and you could count on him. He was at his best under pressure...always kept cool. A good man who will be missed. RIP George.

I'm so sad to hear of George's passing. I met George at Hemingway's in Irmo, SC while my husband and I enjoyed a cold beverage. George was always friendly and had a kind word to share with me. I enjoyed seeing George. He had the best smile. He will be greatly missed!!

RIP Big Brother, you will be missed by many. Where ever you went you became best friends with every stranger you met. Your smile won the hearts of everyone, and you always had a calming nature about you. As we grew up you were always there for me helping and guiding me every step of my late teens and early adulthood. Through our adult years we were making many happy memories, and so many laughs together along the way. I love you George and will miss you. Be at peace and comfort now, I know Mom welcomed you with one of her biggest hugs and Danny handed you a "Cold one!" Always in my heart, Sugar (Janet)
