Cayce, South Carolina - Greg, 62, passed away October 29, 2023 at Warriors Walk. Surviving are sisters Judy Norris, Brenda (Rick) Redmon, Deb (Bill) Marshall, nieces, nephews and best friend Steve Dorn. He was predeceased by his parents Ray and Sarah Pless and his niece Renee Redmon.
Service will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery at 11:00am Thursday November 16, 2023. Memorials may be made to Columbia VA Health Care ATT: Warriors Walk/Jerri, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, S.C. 29209.

I was thinking of my buddy Greg Pless and Ben Smith today and was very saddened to see of Greg´s passing. We all three had a blast on the USS Carl Vinson CVN-70. So sorry to hear my long time friend is gone to heaven.
