James Seborn Ragan Jr. HOPKINS - James "Jimmy" Seborn Ragan Jr., 62, of Hopkins, South Carolina, passed away January 4, 2016, in Palmetto Health Heart Hospital Columbia, South Carolina. He was born August 4, 1953, in Stoughton, Wisconsin to the late James and Donna Thornburgh Ragan. Jimmy was a kind and gentle soul. He enjoyed the simple things in life like hunting on his land in East Texas or enjoying his Aunt Grace's oatmeal cookies. Jimmy was a very hard worker and was liked by everyone he worked with. He was patient and had a great sense of humor. Jimmy loved his family, quietly and in his heart. He will be missed by those that he loved, and those that loved and knew him. James is survived by his sister, Diana Ragan-Cox (Paul) of South Carolina; a brother, John Ray Ragan of Kilgore, TX; nieces, Yvette Brown, Angela Tuhoey and Staci Albritten; nephews, Jason Ragan and Nolan Ragan. He is also survived by aunts, Gracie Lowe, Jan Gentry and Anne Rowe; and uncles, Johnny Lowe and Bobby Ragan.
