January 27, 2024
Columbia, South Carolina - Jerry Mishoe Brennecke died on January 27, 2024, after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Still Hopes, with a reception following in the Guignard Mansion. Burial will be private. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.

I was a young college grad when I arrived in Columbia, met Jerry. He became my mentor, helped me in so many ways, literally changed my life trejectory, for which I am so grateful. He was a true gentleman, someone you could trust, count on. My condolences to his family, belatedly.
