December 28, 1955 - July 22, 2022
North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - We are sad to announce the death of Lisa Marie Capes, 66, who passed away of natural causes in her home in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Lisa was born December 28, 1955 in Geneva, New York to Michael Patrick Dwyer, Sr. and Alice Ione Hunt. She graduated from R.B. Stall High School in 1973.
Lisa lived a vivacious life, putting her all into everything she did. She loved Wofford College football; and, being a wonderful hostess, she was the Queen of tailgating. Lisa also enjoyed to travel, sail, water ski, and snow ski.
She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, John Robert "Bob" Capes, and is survived by daughter Ann Boney, brothers Michael P. Dwyer, Jr. (Pamela), James Raymond Dwyer, sister Susanne Dwyer Beard (David), step-grandson Zachary Dellinger (Hsini), and stepdaughters Barbara Capes and Stephanie Capes (Lamar).
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, 3926 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memories may be shared at www.dunbarfunerals.com.
