Louis Bilodeau Obituary

Louis E. Bilodeau BLYTHEWOOD - Louis E. Bilodeau, 63, of Blythewood, SC, died Sunday, May 29th, 2016, in Palmetto-Richland Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Lewiston, Maine, October 11, 1952, a son of Lucien and Madeleine Carpentier Bilodeau, he graduated from Edward Little High School and received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Bentley College. Louis was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and was plant manager at Akzo-Nobel/ Coveright Surfaces/ Arclin. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and being a member of Chamber of Commerce. He loved spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his generosity, kind heart, willingness to help others and the love for his family. He is survived by his mother, Madeleine Bilodeau; wife, the former Charlene Suzanne Dube; sons, Shawn Scott Bilodeau (Michelle), grandchildren, Cameron and Nolan Bilodeau, and Kevin John Bilodeau (Brooke), grandchildren, Jordynn, Landon and Avery Bilodeau; daughter, Kelley Lynn Silver (Justin), grandchildren, Kayla and Matthew Silver; brother, Paul Bilodeau; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Elaine Dube; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Lucien Bilodeau; paternal grandparents, Alphonse and Florida Compagnon Bilodeau; maternal grandparents, Eugene Sr. and Emiliene Carpentier; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Rita Dube; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Moore. Visitation will be held at The Fortin Group, Auburn Sunday, June 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Liturgy of the Word service will be held at the funeral home Monday 11:00 a.m. June 6. Graveside committal in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations in Louis' memory may be made to American Heart Association, 51 US Rt. 1, Suite M, Scarborough, ME 04074.
