Colorado Springs, Colorado - Born the 4th of July 1971 he passed on Sept 3, 2021 at the age of 50. He was away from home working in Colorado Springs, CO. His residence was Lexington County, Columbia, SC. Born in Hartford, CT the son of Margo Jensen Nichols and Howard J Nichols Jr. Matt was 4 when Rod Burch became his step-father, later Matt's surname was changed to Burch.
He is pre-deceased by biological father Howard Nichols Jr, and all grandparents. He is survived by Mother, Margo Jensen Burch, younger brothers Torrey Burch (Tabitha Wilkes Burch), niece Lorelai "Sprite" Burch, Curtis Burch (Tabatha Cockrell Burch), aunts, uncles, cousins and other family in CT, VA, RI and MA. Matthew was loved and will be missed dearly.
Member of Mensa Society at age 16. A graduate of Simon's Rock of Bard College before he was 18. He did a Spanish immersion program in Mexico, an Eagle Scout, ROTC and SC National Guard. We LOVE you Matt! Memorial date to be determined.
