Michael Sinclair Obituary

Michael Manson Sinclair COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Michael Manson Sinclair, 76, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mr. Sinclair died Monday, July 15, 2013. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Benjamin Manson and Bell Burk Sinclair. Mr. Sinclair graduated from Prosperity High School in 1956. He entered the U.S. Army for six months and attended Wofford College on a baseball scholarship. Mr. Sinclair later signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates being known for his fast curve ball. He retired from Sinclair Supply and was a longtime parishioner of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Sinclair was a true outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Surviving are his daughter, Nena Sinclair of Columbia, and son, Michael M. Sinclair Jr. of Winnsboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Please sign the online guestbook at www.dunbarfunerals.com.
