Paul Catoe Obituary

WILLISTON — Funeral service for Paul Richard Catoe, 85, of Williston, SC will be held two p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010, in the Folk Funeral Home chapel, Williston, SC, with burial in Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m.,Friday, January 8, at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to His Way Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 261, Windsor, SC, 29856. Mr. Catoe passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
 
Born in the Mt. Pisgah community of South Carolina, he was a son of Andrew Rhine Catoe and Florence Bowers Catoe. He was a member of His Way Baptist Church of Windsor where he served as deacon. He retired from SRS and was a WW II Army veteran.
 
Survivors include his wife of the home, Elsie Taylor Catoe; daughters, Patricia (Jerry) Flint, Jenny (John) Wallace; grandchildren, Deena Gainey, Paula Sanders, Carla Hutto, Tammy McDaniel; 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters, Edna Eubanks, Emma Bradley; brothers, Racine, Clyde and William Catoe; grandson, Danny Flint. Visit our on-line registry at www.folkfuneralhome.com.

Mr. Catoe will be miss by all who new him . He would always stop and talk to you ,never pass you up.I'm going to miss seeing him and his grandson going down the dirt road .His grandson would be driving the golf cart and Mr.Catoe would be holding on ,and Katie his dog would be running behide them the hold way.They would stop and speak if he saw you in the yard for a few minutes, then he would say Katie come on lets go home. Sweet man with a caring heart..
