Robert Joseph "Robbie" Ravenscroft Jr.

Robbie Ravenscroft Jr. WILLISTON - A Celebration of Life service for Robert Joseph "Robbie" Ravenscroft, Jr., 46, of Williston, SC, will be held eleven a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at the Church of the Holy Apostles, Barnwell, SC. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m. Monday, June 27th, at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, and immediately following the service, at the church on Tuesday. Robbie passed away Friday, June 24, 2016. Born in Augusta, GA, Robbie was the son of Robert J. Ravenscroft and Julia Baker Ravenscroft. He was a 1987 graduate of Williston-Elko High School, graduated from USC in 1991 with a degree in business administration and was a member of the Church of the Holy Apostles, Barnwell, SC. He formerly worked at the MOX Facility, Albemarle Corporation, and Clariant. Robbie enjoyed gardening and all outdoor activities. He loved the coast and was well-known as "the shrimp guy." Robbie was always helping and doing for others; he was a loving son, brother, father and friend to many. Robbie will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his parents, Bob and Julia Ravenscroft of Williston; son, Joseph Ravenscroft of Evans, GA; daughter, Annabelle Ravenscroft of Barnwell; sisters, Shellie Ravenscroft (Scott) Madaus of Evans, GA, Julie Ravenscroft of Columbia, SC; niece, Megan Ballew of Columbia, SC.
