Ruby Jeffcoat Fanning

Ruby Jeffcoat Fanning CAYCE - Mrs. Ruby Jeffcoat Fanning was born August 29, 1935 in Swansea, South Carolina. She was one of fifteen children born to the late Alexander and Lessie Jeffcoat. She passed away November 10, 2015, in Agape Hospice. Ruby was educated in Lexington County Schools. On August 31, 1963, she was united in Holy Matrimony to (the late) David Fanning. Their union was blessed with ten daughters. For many years, Ruby served faithfully alongside her husband as his secretary in his construction business. At a young age, Ruby joined and attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Swansea and later became a member of Calvary Holiness Church. She is survived by her daughters: Celeste (Charles) Jones, Gwendolyn Faith Fanning, Victoria F. Owens, Elizabeth Fanning, Carolyn F. Parker, Deloris Brown, Christine (Anthony) Jivers, Mary Ann Fanning and Yvonne (Curtis) Keitt; her siblings: Azalee Jeffcoat Huffman, Ethel Jeffcoat Robinson, Covine Jeffcoat Brown and Alexander Jeffcoat, Jr.; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. The Homegoing Service for Mrs. Fanning will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Holiness Church, 1635 Middle Street, Cayce, with burial in Swansea Cemetery.
