Muskogee, Oklahoma - Wanda Kempson peacefully entered Heaven on January 31, 2021. She was born on November 11, 1941 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Charles E. and Ora Mae (Sanders) Hilbern.
Wanda worked for many years for Sears in Muskogee and Columbia, South Carolina. She enjoyed traveling our beautiful country with her husband of 42 years, Bobby Joe Kempson. She had a strong faith in God and loved to play and sing hymns. Painting, sewing, reading, gem mining, and searching for antique treasures were some of her favorite pastimes.
She has been reunited with those who have gone before her; her parents; siblings, Nora Lee Jones and her son, Steve Ellsworth, Don Hilbern and wife Pat, Barbara Williams; niece, Tanya Virtue, and granddaughter, Ashlee Bonicelli.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bob; children, Pete Bonicelli, Jr., Tony Bonicelli (Michelle), David Bonicelli (Cindy) and Angela Bonicelli; grandchildren, Emma Dusenbury, Jehu Dusenbury, Alex Bonicelli, Wyatt Bonicelli, Madison Krejci, and Amanda Armstrong; great-grandchild, Henry Bonicelli; along with many nephews and nieces.
A service is not planned at this time.
Cremation services provided by Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 N. York Street, Muskogee, OK. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com.
