William Hoff, Jr.
February 2, 1952 - August 3, 2022
Eastvale, California - William B. Hoff, Jr. was called home by his Heavenly Father on Aug 3, 2022 at the age of 70. Bill, as he was affectionately known, was born on February 2, 1952 in Columbia, SC to the late William B. Hoff, Sr. and Iola Jenkins Hoff.
Bill graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1971 and NC A&T State University in 1974 majoring in electrical engineering. He moved to California after graduation to pursue his engineering career. He worked for several companies including Northrup Grumman, General Dynamics and retired in 2012 after 30 years of service with Raytheon in El Segundo, CA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother-in-law Phillip Alexander, and one nephew Phillip Alexander Jr.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: wife of 38 years, Artress Lorraine; five children, Stafford, Alexson, Deandre, Dorian and Michelae; four granddaughters, Afton, Monica, Isabelle and Mya; two sisters, Gloria Jenkins Alexander and Patricia Hoff Padgett (Alvin); one uncle and aunt, Grover C. Jenkins (Betty); one niece, Dr. Shaylar Padgett; two nephews, Vernon Alexander and Jason Allen, and a host of other loving relatives and friends of whom will miss him dearly.
Memorial services will be held in Eastvale, CA and in Columbia, SC at later dates.

Bill was such a gentleman and a pleasure to be around in high school. Such a class act. I know he will be missed and found in sweet memories in the years to come. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.
