Albert Fuller Obituary

Albert J. Fuller, 88 of Wrentham passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 8, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Albert was born on June 6, 1933 and lived his entire life in Wrentham, a true townie. He was the son of the late George and Doris (Ventham) Fuller. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Rosemary, who passed on June 14, 2020.

Albert was an engineer working for a variety of companies. After his retirement, he joyously spent his days driving handicapped adults to and from work. Of all his jobs, this one was the one he enjoyed the most.

Albert served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany as a cook. As a lifelong resident of Wrentham he served on several town committees, including many terms on the board of selectmen and finance committee. On November 16, 1949 Albert earned the honors of Eagle Scout as a member of troop #61. He was also a longtime member of Knights of Columbus Council #1847 in Franklin where he served in many roles including District Deputy.

He enjoyed bowling, summers on Prudence Island, wintering in Hawaii for 33 years with the many friends he made and spending his days on Lake Pearl. Until his last days, Albert continued to enjoy talking with his dear friends across the country who he and Rosemary met in Hawaii. His greatest joy was being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Albert is survived by his sister, Barbara Mayhew of Wrentham. His 4 children, William Fuller of Wrentham, Cynthia Fuller of Wrentham, with whom he resided, Jeanne Gilbert of North Attleboro and Michael Fuller of Walpole. He was predeceased by his son Robert.

He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 14 from 4:00-8:00 pm at RJ Ross Funeral Home 135 South Street, Wrentham. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 15th at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 130 South Street, Wrentham.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alberts memory to the American Cancer Society. cancer.org
