Albert Jordan Obituary

Albert Calvin Jordan (Cal to his friends and family) age 86, of Norton, formerly of Walpole, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday December 20, 2024. He was the loving husband to his late wife Patricia Jordan for 62 years.

Born in Norwood on October 9, 1938, he was the son of the late Charles Jordan and Helen (Jordan) Badger.

Cal grew up and went to school in Norwood. When not in school Cal could be found working alongside his stepfather Knight Badger on the Forbes farm until enlisting in the US Airforce at age 17. Shortly after his return he met his soon to be wife at a diner in town and they married in 1961. Cal worked for the Kendall Company in Walpole for over 20 years till they closed. He then worked at Westwood Lodge, Maples Nursing Home and as a school Janitor at Foxboro High School prior to his retirement.

Cal loved camping at Bourne and fishing the canal, teaching all the grandkids how to fish, he and Pat enjoyed going to the "Jordan Reunions" in Maine and camping on their property up there. The road trip to Nashville and Dolly World with Dale and Phil, was a story he loved to tell. He enjoyed the Holidays when family stopped by, especially the great grandkids.

Cal has now been reunited with his late wife Pat; he also joins their daughter Maureen, her husband Chuck, their son Terrence as well as their twin sons Peter and Paul, and his late brother-in-law Francis Murphy and his wife Patricia.

Cal is survived by his loving children, Kimberly and her husband Scott Harrington of Mansfield, Shawn Jordan and life partner Brenda White of Foxboro, Kathleen Jordan of Rhode Island, and Victor Jordan: His grandchildren: Cassandra, Stephanie, Shawn, Kelsey, Jessica, Michael, Amanda, Dylan, Matthew, and Tiffany; and his great grandchildren.

He leaves behind his half-brother Charles Jordan from Norton and half-sister Faith (Badger) McGill, many stepbrothers, and stepsisters. His sister-in-law Jean Lincoln and her husband George of Norton, Kathleen Nash, and her late husband Earl.

Cal also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, their children, and friends.

"Until we meet again, may God bless you as he has blessed me" (Elvis Presley)
