Dorothea A. (Faherty) Fonttz, 60, of Derry, New Hampshire, died at home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of Ann T. Faherty Sceles and the late Peter G. Faherty Jr.,

Dot, also known as Tia, grew up and graduated from Brockton High School. Although she lived and worked in Massachusetts for many years, Dot really considered New Hampshire her home. She relocated to New Hampshire many years ago, most recently residing in Derry.

Dot worked for the Salem Public School maintenance staff for many years. In addition to work Dot had many interests. She was an avid NASCAR fan. She also loved the beach and unicorns. Dot was a very spiritual person and a level 2 Reiki practitioner.

Dorothea is survived by her son, Anthony Fonttz Jr., his daughter Tiana, and her siblings Charlene Faherty Senesac, Barbara Gonsalves, Peter Faherty, Mark Faherty and Frances Michelle. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, November 8th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 9th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary's Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will be private.
