Robert Fife Obituary
Robert was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 29, 1932. He resided in Attleboro, for 60 years, where he was a beloved figure in the community. Robert was a compassionate and loving individual, known for his intelligence and thoughtful nature. He was a mechanical engineer by profession, dedicating 40 years to the manufacturing industry. He was deeply appreciated for his work and dedication. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army before his honorable discharge in 1956.
Robert was an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul community and a lector at Mass, deeply committed to his faith and parish at St. John the Evangelist Church. His hobbies included photography, gardening, boating, and fishing. He had a profound love for nature and found immense joy in the serenity it offered. Robert's life was full of loving memories and lessons that will forever resonate with his loved ones and the community.
Robert is survived by his son, Brian Fife, and daughter-in-law, Jean-Marie Fife. He was a cherished grandfather to Jessica Fife McIntyre and Ian Fife, and a respected father-in-law to John McIntyre.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Fife, and his parents, James and Leona Fife. Robert's family was his greatest joy, and he loved them with all his heart. He was a smart, compassionate, and thoughtful man who was always there to offer a helping hand to those in need.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro.
