Sue and I shared many coincidences in life. We were both North Attleboro girls, both Bass River Savings Bank employees. My brother bought her sister's house on Westside Avenue, where he still lives. One time when she was driving down to RI to see Dick, she asked me to bring her a pair of my husband's socks because the heater was gone in her car and it was a long, cold drive otherwise. She was, like me, a very pragmatic individual, with a great sense of humor. We both loved our Bass River banking years and though we went our separate ways, I always remembered her fondly. Whenever I passed the turn off Rte. 28 in Chatham, where her home and cottages were, I thought of her in that moment, and how lucky I was to have known her. May she rest in peace.
