Todd Brodeur Obituary

Todd M. Brodeur. On March 21, 2024, in NC on a beautiful beach playing frisbee with near perfect conditions, doing what he loved to do, Todd M. Brodeur "Toddy", 59, of No. Attleboro and Bellingham, MA, suddenly passed away. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Toddy was a vibrant and energetic individual who embraced life to the fullest. He was a two-time world champion in freestyle frisbee, known for his competitive spirit and mentorship to younger generations through his World Class Frisbee Shows. Todd was a talented artist, skilled in working with various materials to create items of whimsy or beauty and function. He could build a new house or restore an old one, and he could restore an old car, or repair a new one. Was a history buff, loved Boston sports teams, and attended Tri-County Reg. Voc. Tech. H.S., traveled to different countries, and loved his family.

He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Samantha Brodeur, his father, Ronald Brodeur, his siblings, Tammy, Tina and Tim, his eight nieces, great niece and four great nephews and numerous family and friends near and far. Todd was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Katheryn S. Brodeur, and his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life for Todd will be held on April 20, 2024, at the Coachman's Lodge in Bellingham, MA, from 4 pm to 7 pm. The event will be casual, and attendees are invited to wear something orange in honor of Toddy.

Rest in peace, Todd. Your legacy of love, laughter, and friendship will forever be cherished by all who were lucky enough to know you.

Just hearing about this a year later. This one hits home, I'll say. He was so full of life. A constant smile. We were best friends at Tri-County. We went to several concerts together. He will be missed. RIP

my first ever round of discgolf, I was given my first 2 (donated) discs .. an eclipse & an aviar ..and somewhere on that course in Rindge that day, I came across a yellow XD under some leaves..with the huge letters "TODDY" underneath.. within that year, I finally met the (legend, by then) ..and I knew the right thing to do was to return the disc.. He insisted I keep it.."I have a ton of discs" was the comment ... it´s just one of the many examples of his kindness & willingness to help others .. (good thing !!.. I loved that disc !!)

from my POV, he was one of the OG´s of disc sports in New England .. always willing to offer a tip, or a suggestion to the newbies .. a great mentor to many.. one of my fondest memories, was playing that first tournament at his Zephar Lake course (Greenfield, NH ?) .. in 2 feet of fresh snow !!.. wiser players brought snowshoes !!(lol)

it truly was a shock when the news of his passing came my way .. he had a lot more love to give ...

the tiniest consolation was (I´m told) that one of his final moments on the planet was freestyling on a beach ... we can only hope to be doing something we cherish during our way out ...

you are missed TODDY

Last time I saw Toddy was two years ago in Toronto. He came up for our Freestyle event "Summer Jam". Unfortunately I had injured myself the day before, so we couldn´t play. Although we shared a big hug and made a promise to jam next time. Sadly, that day will never come. My daughter did get a great picture of Toddy doing his thing. So I do have a fond memory.

We hosted Todd at several of the libraries I worked for, and he was always a class act. Great with the kids, loving what he did, wanting to share it with people in a gracious, friendly manner. We will miss him.
