Yvette S. and Richard R. Bellavance

Yvette S. (LaLiberte) Bellavance, age 87, a former longtime resident of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Richard R. Bellavance, age 86, who passed away on July 13, 2024. They were both surrounded by their loving family at the time of their deaths and had been happily wed for sixty-seven years.

Yvette was the daughter of the late Alcide and Mercedes (Coneau) LaLiberte. Richard was the son of the late former Mansfield Fire Chief Cyril and Germaine (Larence) Bellavance.

Yvette had been employed as an Expediter at the former Datel Manufacturing Company in Mansfield and Richard was a retired Mansfield Deputy Fire Chief. Formerly of Mansfield for forty-three years, Yvette and Richard were communicants of Saint Mary's Church in Mansfield, enjoyed traveling, but most of all, spending time with their adoring family.

Yvette and Richard were the devoted parents of David R. Bellavance of Woonsocket, Mark F. Bellavance and his wife Michele of Blackstone, Deborah A. Bellavance of Northampton, Kevin R. Bellavance and his wife Anne Marie of Woonsocket and the late Michael J. Bellavance and his late wife Lisa. Yvette was the dear sister of Helen Papineau and the late Theresa LaPorte and Georgette Depot. Richard was the dear brother of Jeannine Caprarella, Bernard Bellavance, retired Mansfield Fire Chief Robert Bellavance, Donald Bellavance and the late former Mansfield Fire Lieutenant Normand Bellavance. They are also survived by their cherished 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, as well as their loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for both Yvette and Richard, to be celebrated in Saint Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield on Saturday, July 27th at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Mansfield.
