Rickey Lee Pilkington of Sherwood passed away Sept. 27, 2025. He was the son of the late Jerry L. Pilkington and the late Zelda Mae Ramsey Pilkington. Rickey was born Sept. 21, 1951, in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He graduated from Heber Springs High School where he played football as the quarterback.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 29 years, Nita Pilkington; stepson, Chuck Brown; grandchildren, Madeline Brown and Tyler Brown (Chelsea); great grandchildren, Natalie and Montana; a sister, Janice Pilkington; niece, Emily Boeving; his uncle, Keith Pilkington (Anna); and many cousins and wonderful friends.

Debbie and I were very sorry to hear about Rickey Lee's passing. John and Angie had kept us informed about his health issues the last few weeks. Recently, we were talking about how much fun we all had in Hot Springs over New Year's a while ago.
