James Foster Nettles Jr.

James Foster Nettles Jr., born on May 3, 1985, in Murphy, North Carolina, passed away on June 29, 2025, in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

James was the beloved son of Mark and Wanda Stevenson and Jimmy and Tina Nettles. He was a devoted father to Braxtyn, Brody, and Isabella Nettles. He is also remembered as a cherished brother to Kristen Nettles and Jarrett Nettles and his wife Corie.

A funeral service honoring James's life will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Orangeburg, South Carolina, on Saturday, July 12th at 2:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.

I am so very sorry to hear of James passing. I knew him thru my business at Parks Pets. I looked forward to him coming in just to chat. He loved to cook and brought me home cooked food and delicious chili several times. He will be missed. His family is in my thoughts and prayers
