Jane Rebecca Pound Inabinet
ST. MATTHEWS -- Mrs. Jane Rebecca Pound Inabinet, 81, of St. Matthews, Calhoun County, SC, met her heavenly father on Monday, May 27, 2024, at her home after an extended illness. She was the wife of John Hayden Inabinet, Jr.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 30, 2024, at West End Cemetery in St. Matthews, SC, with Rev. Darrell Wilkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home in Orangeburg, SC. Honorary pallbearers are Riley Godwin, John Hayden Inabinet, IV, Derek Gallegos, Corey Grant, David Truluck, Jr., and Nick Stabler.
Mrs. Jane Inabinet was born in Calhoun County, the daughter of the late Marvin E. Pound and Vera Dell Zeigler Pound. She was a graduate of the Medical College of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse. She was a DHEC Home Health Nurse for the Calhoun and Orangeburg County areas.
Her love for the Lord started when she was 8 years old and dedicated her life to Christ. She taught Sunday School from her teenage years through retirement. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Becky Ripperdan; and son, Delbert (April) Inabinet. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jane was preceded in death by her son, John Hayden Inabinet, III; two brothers, Everette and Ted Pound; two sister-in-laws, Mary Pound (Everette) and Frances Truluck (David Truluck, Sr.); and one son-in-law, Michael Ripperdan.
