Deon Miller Obituary
Deon "DJ" Miller Jr., age 20, born July 12, 1998, departed this life on Sunday, June 23,2019 following an auto accident. He was a graduate of Alton Senior High School.
He was a former employee with Jack-in-the Box and was currently employed with United Parcel Services (UPS) as a loader in East Alton, Illinois.
Deon is survived by his parents Tunya Batts and Deon Miller Sr., his sisters and brothers, Devon Miller, Devonte Miller, Tamranika Walker, Toneisha Gage, Teyonna Gage and Eric Miller, three aunts, two uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
Services will be held Monday, July 1 from noon until 2 p.m. at Cathy Williams Funeral Home in Alton, Illinois

Happy 21st Birthday DJ!!! Everyday and night my heart aches and my tears flow because it's so hard to let you go. I love you so much Captain. You are truly missed. You where my first love I met you when you where 16 so goofy then we became adults and had adventures I loved you like no other but our relationship eventually ended but my love for you never did you where such a great man even through our bad times I don't regret you or anything and I would do it all over again if I could go back to the day I met you I'm sorry I let you down I'm sorry I gave up on us so easy you where supposed to go out on your 21st birthday you didn't deserve this you where supposed to go to college and become a big shot like you always talked about.you where such a hard worker and a great older brother and amazing son I'm so sorry this happened to you

Deon Miller was a bright spirit who could capture the attention of a room just by walking into it. He had a smile that was contagious and a very kind heart. He always had a great work ethic and was very determined. Prayers for his many family and friends in this time of tragedy.
