GariAnn Hanlon-Myers Obituary
Edwardsville - GariAnn Hanlon Myers, 56, passed away on December 18, 2021. GariAnn was born in Alton, IL on April 11, 1965. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Myers, and daughter, Kristen Ann Stock.
GariAnn is survived by her parents, Michael and Lavonne Hanlon of Hardin, KY. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Sean Hall of Brighton, IL, Eric Hall (Kim Gay) of Murray KY, Edward Hall of Winfield, Mo, Cate Skiles (Courtney Halford) of Hartford, IL, and Natalie Hanlon-Myers of Edwardsville, IL. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Brayden Hall, and Naomi Hall and siblings (brother) Kevin and Kay Hanlon of Dow, IL, (brother) Jeff and Claudia Hanlon of Medora, IL, (brother) Tim and Ann Hanlon of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
GariAnn passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She enjoyed camping, vacations at the beach, music, playing washers, watching the St. Louis Blues, her beloved dogs (Gunner and Molly) and spending time with her family. Wherever she went, she was always the funniest person in the room. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a good humored, carefree, and loving person.
The family will hold a private time of remembrance, but all are welcome to gather at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23 when she will be laid to rest. Friends and family are then invited at 1:15 p.m. to the Wood River VFW Post # 2859 for a luncheon and remembrance.
