Nannette Jean Crane-Morgan

Nannette Jean Crane-Morgan, 54, died at 4:42 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 3, 1970 in Alton, the daughter of Norman and Gloria (Simpson) Crane. Nannette fought cancer for 4 ½ years. She worked in many specialties as a Registered Nurse for 27 years at different hospitals and was a member of Messiah Lutheran in Alton. Besides her parents she is survived by one son, Norman Dale Long and his father, Brian Long, maternal Grandmother, sister-in-law, Shawna Watts, Aunt, Sharon Heindricks and many other Aunts and Uncles and her pets, Gracie and Ugh Bug. She was preceded in death by one son, Mickeal Anthony Stephens, maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents, Leonard and Mildred Crane. Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 12:00 p.m. noon at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice. The family would like to thank OSF Hospice nurses, Sydney and Carolyn for their kindness and care of Nannette.
