Ngeen Wong Obituary
Ngeen Kim Wong was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on June 1, 2024 at age 95.
She was born in India to Ming Gin and Fong Lee on October 30, 1928, but lived most of her growing years in China. She met and married her husband Shie Jung Wong in Kwangtung, China in 1946. Together, they had four children. She was preceded in death by her sons Mow Bein Wong and Raymond Wong and brother David Yan. She is survived by her daughters Evelyn (Tom) King and Joyce (Yuel) Tom; nine grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister Rose Yen and many nieces.
Ngeen followed her husband Shie Jung to America in 1950. She spent long hard hours with her husband and their family in their laundry business for more than 40 years. She always enjoyed learning, traveling, and good food. She loved spending time with her family, nature, beautiful landscape, and flowers.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am on June 7, 2024, at the Lake Park Cemetery Chapel at 1459 E Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, Ohio 44502.
