Noah Newman Obituary
Noah Daniel Newman, age 27 of Carrollton passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ofallon. He was born June 20, 1997 in Alton, the son of Rodney Newman and Josie Connell.
He is survived by his mom and dad, Josie and Scott Jones of Carrollton, his father, Rodney Newman of Alton, maternal grandparents, Jane and Rod Connell of Kampsville, paternal grandfather, Ron Newman of Kampsville; two brothers, Levi Newman of Carrollton, Gabe Jones of Carrollton, and a sister, Trinity Jones of Carrollton. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joanann Newman.
He attended Bellview Church in Calhoun County. He graduated from Carrollton High School. He loved to play football, helping others, and working out.
He joined the Army National Guard in March 12, 2020 and was in the 1844th Transportation Company.
As we mourn his loss it's important to acknowledge the battle he fought with addiction. Addiction is a relentless enemy and he faced it with courage and resilience. If any of you are struggling, please reach out. No one should feel alone in this fight. There are resources and support available. Don't hesitate to ask for help.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton with burial to follow in Summit Grove Cemetery near Kampsville. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be suggested to Tunnels to Towers. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com

Noah was the second sweet boy to make me an Aunt. I am so blessed to have known him when he was a little boy. I'm only sorry that I didn't get to know him as a man. I'm sorry for your loss Rod and Josie and families.
