Plainview - Patsy "Pat" Ann Sweet, 78 of Plainview, IL, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at her home in Plainview, IL.
Pat was born June 21, 1944, in Carrollton, IL, a daughter of Wilbur and Helen (Steinacher) Davenport. She graduated from Bunker Hill High with the class of 1962. She married Thomas Lee Sweet, in Maui, HI on June 21, 1999.
Pat was a member of Ss Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Carlinville, IL
Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Beiermann , and granddaughter Laura Elizabeth Davis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Ss Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Carlinville, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 9:00 am with the Reverend Charles Edwards officiant.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Bethalto, IL.
Pat is survived by her husband, Thomas Lee Sweet of Plainview, IL, son, Steve (Brandie) Mullink of Girard, IL, daughter, Jami (Alan) Hughes of Carlinville, IL, daughter, Tricia (Simon) Hannig of Carlinville, IL, daughter, Sarah (Clinton) Davis of Maeystown, IL, daughter, Laura (Jack) Tastad of Millstadt, IL, grandson, A.J. (Brooke) Mullink, grandson, Alex Mullink, grandson, Jake Mullink, granddaughter, Taylor (Jacob) Lamb, grandson, Jake Hannig, granddaughter, Baylee Hughes, granddaughter, Katie Davis, grandson, Tucker Hughes, grandson, Tom (Lauren) Davis, granddaughter, Carli (Unnar) Thorensen, grandson, Carter (fiance'Kielyn) Tastad, great grandchildren: Izzy, Maya, Brixlee, Elaina, Carolina, Tate, Hallie, Dallas, one niece and one nephew.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital.

I met Pat several years ago in Orange Beach,AL. We immediately became friends and shared a special bond. I admired her brave and courageous taste for adventure, her love for life, honesty, kindness and strong faith. We made so many wonderful memories that I´ll treasure forever. I´ll miss her so very much! Prayers for Tom and family Much love, Ruthie
