Rose was a wonderful woman. She always made you feel welcomed. She would make a point of catching up on events since the last family gathering. The summer of 1966 our family moved to Fairview Heights. Rose and Al were the first couple my parents met. Mom and Dad were looking to purchase a home located across the street from where Rose and Al lived. Rose was outside and my folks stop the car to ask questions about the area. That was the start of a wonderful friendship and eventually the melding of our two families together. With Rose's passing all four parents are now gone, but Rose Marie & Albert Dominic Sirko and Rosemary Elizabeth and Donald Dominic Pray share two grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren!
