There are a few special people in my life that I will never forget and Dr Tom Morrissey is one of them. He was a very thoughtful and caring doctor, even to the point of calling me in the middle of the night to be sure I had the medicine he had prescribed for my sick child, even assuring me me could call a druggest to provide it. Fortunately I had already obtained it, but it was a
Dramatic example of his concern for his patients. I always felt I had an ally in my 4 children´s lives because of this.
He had a wonderful sense of humor which was encouraging
Through their many childhood
Illnesses. The main "Dr Morrissey saying" was "People who think they know everything
Are especially trying to those of us who do". Rest in peace dear friend.

I loved Dr Morrissey! He was the Pediatrician for all four of our children through the 60´s, bringing them through many childhood illnesses. He was a dedicated and caring man even calling me in the night to check on our son to make sure he had the medication needed for a pervasive fever. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I
Still recall many of his quips, my favorite being "Those who think they know everything are especially trying to those of us who do!" Rest In Peace dear friend! You made the world a better place for me and mine!

The world lost a wonderful person in Dr Morrissey. As a young patient(and fearful of Drs) he always had the most calming voice & demeanor. Just a wonderful person. You all have my deepest sympathy.
