Amos Julian Obituary

Amos J. Julian, 75, of Archbald, died Saturday at Regional Hospital of Scranton after a lengthy illness. He was the husband to Bernadette Vaicekauskas Julian.

Born in Archbald, he was a son of the late Amos A. and Mary T. Malinowski Julian. A graduate of Archbald High School, class of 1964, and Lackawanna Jr. College, he was a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald. Before retirement, Amos was employed in the dietary department at Lackawanna County Prison.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife are three sons, Amos III, Clarks Summit; Joseph and companion, Stephanie, Archbald; and Thomas and wife, Lindsey, Scranton; two daughters, Bernice Julian, Archbald; and Chris Hara and spouse, Jennifer, Washington, D.C.; brother, Robert and wife, Barbara, Archbald; sister, Rose Marie McAndrew, Archbald; grandchildren, Sophia Julian, Athena Mincer and Seth Julian; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial is Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Christ the King Parish, Archbald. Family will receive condolences from 9 a.m. to service. Inurnment, private.
