Christine Boland Coman of Palm Desert, Calif., peacefully passed away Aug. 14 in Oceanside, Calif.
She was born in Scranton and graduated from Marywood Seminary in 1953. Chris graduated from the Drexel Institute of Technology in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1963 she moved to San Diego and attended San Diego State University where she earned a master's degree in economics. She was married to Jim Coman for 45 years. He passed in 2012. Chris loved dogs and had many beloved Vizslas. She enjoyed trips with friends to Mexico and the beaches of La Jolla. She and Jim moved to Palm Desert in 1997. She had her own consulting business doing feasibility studies for municipalities. She will be interred next to her husband at the Desert Memorial Park on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 1:30 p.m. Chris was very intelligent, loving and compassionate. She lived life her way!
She is survived by her stepson, Chase; daughter-in-law, Perrin; granddaughter, Emerson; and cousins, LeeAnne Geiger and Jesse Farr.
