Christopher Walukas Obituary
Christopher N. Walukas, 61, of Duryea, died Saturday, March 30, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Dr. Leonard and Anna Viola Mahalsky Walukas. A graduate of Pittston Area High School, he earned his degree from Kings College and, prior to his illness, was employed as a counselor.
Also surviving is a sister, Christina Walukas, Old Forge.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Duryea.
Friends and family may pay their respects Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Please visit the funeral home website to leave an online condolence.
