Edward Pabon Obituary

Edward Pabon, Ph.D., of Kingston, died Wednesday evening after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Andrea.

Ed was a retired professor from Marywood School of Social Work, Scranton.

Also surviving are a daughter, Marisa, Delaware; a son, E.J., New York; four stepchildren, Phillip, Rosie and Megan, all of New Jersey; and Keith and wife, Lori; and two grandchildren, Jimmy and Patrick, all of Pennsylvania.

Funeral arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family. The family requests in Ed's memory, donations of blood at the American Red Cross, Wyoming Valley or Lackawanna County chapters. Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, Wyoming Valley Chapter, Prevention Education Dept., 256 N. Sherman St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702-5316. I'm so so sorry, Prof Pabon took me under his wings and encouraged me to strive for the best. I'm truly sad today to hear he's no longer with us.
