Frank Uronis Obituary
He was born in Scranton, only son of the late Stanley and Gertrude Bernisky Uronis.
After graduating from Scranton Tech, he enlisted in the Marines during the Korean conflict. Before retirement, he was a machinist at Chamberlain Industries.
His pastime passions were hunting, fishing and watching football. Dad had a strong, tough personality on the outside, but in his heart he only wanted what was best for his family, who he loved very much.
Also surviving are three daughters, Patty Cook and companion, Jeffrey Kaub; June Bialczka, Scranton; Janet and husband, Richard Yescavage, Jessup; one son, Danny and wife, Debbie, Factoryville; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Private services with military honors are at the convenience of the family under the care of the Bomberger-Lesko Funeral Home Inc., 1660 N. Main Ave.

Dear Family,
What a shock it was to hear of the death of my Godfather and your dad, Frank! I know he must have been a wonderful dad because I know he was one hell of a Marine. Those years we served together in the corps are etched in my mind. No matter what the conditions were, he never complained but did his job. I will always remember him as a true and loyal friend as well as Godfather. Semper Fi! and God bless all of you.
