If I was in the army, George was the kind of guy that would always have your back. I got to know George through my sister Jane in Canada. Sometimes he stayed with my parents, who were the soul of the Earth, and George fitted right in. George had the vision to see through injustices in government and business. He was an independent thinker who thought of others and always had a common sense solution. You couldn't ask for a better friend.

I´m so very sorry to hear this sad news, George was a kind soul and very kind to my Dad and stepmom! He always tried to help and very gracious with his found treasures he had! I will hold the gifts he gave me with the most sincere memories! You will never be forgotten..

We met George 53 years ago in Manhatten. In his Carmen Gia he drove to our Canadian log cabin, cottage, family homes, and canoe trips with 2 couples and 2 dogs. We stopped into Harvey's Lake and the Poccono Race track where we toured a Jim Thorpe Mansion. George often called for medical advice before his many surgeries. Two months ago, George told me that he lived his life according to his Father's principles. He said he was truly Blessed that he had a good life knowing that he did whatever he could to help others in need. We will miss talking to you. What a wonderful good man and how lucky we were to know you.
