Johnine and I worked together for over a decade. She was instrumental in building our Care management company for Montefiore focused on the mental health of the thousands of patients we managed. She broke new ground in the development of programs that targeted those individuals in the most need of help. She was committed to improving their lives in any and many ways. She was a great partner and warm friend who often gave me counsel in difficult times. She was a warm and wonderful person. Her family and friends should be very proud of her accomplishments and privileged to have had her are part of our lives.

I was Johnine´s patient. She treated me with empathy and respect, and a deep understanding that came with life experience. Never leaned much about her personal life besides some little questions here and there, but I still feel like I knew her well. She did good in this world and made an impact on peoples lives. My condolences to her entire family.

Remembering Johnine with deep affection. She was our beloved next door neighbor for more than a quarter century, and always had a warm, wise, witty and friendly word for us and our children, not to mention the occasional borrowed egg or key. Sending condolences especially to Ian and Jane. We will miss her and will always remember her and her graceful, calm personality fondly.

Receiving the news about Johnine´s passing was heartbreaking. I worked with her for many years at Montefiore. She was the consummate professional and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. Even better was being her friend. She was smart, funny, and totally down to earth. We enjoyed talking about books, travel, and our shared Irish heritage. She was one in a million and will be missed. May her memory be a blessing.
