Joshua Chorba Obituary
Joshua C. Chorba, 38, of Carbondale, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His 20-year partner and fiancée is Mary Thomas, Carbondale.
Born in Valdosta, Georgia, Josh graduated from Keystone College with an associate's degree in culinary arts. He was a line cook at La Cucina Restaurant in Dunmore and considered his colleagues and patrons to be part of his family. Josh was a fun-loving person who enjoyed golfing, playing his guitar, going to the gym and playing with his dogs. Josh displayed admirable strength and courage as he valiantly fought his cancer diagnosis. He will be deeply missed.
Josh is survived by a son, Jayden (at home).
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
