Marilyn Speicher Obituary
Born in Archbald on May 28, 1945, daughter of the late Ambrose and Mildred Munley Castner, Marilyn graduated from Archbald High School and Johnson School of Technology, where she earned a degree as a licensed practical nurse. She went on to be a LPN at Moses Taylor Hospital until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Christ the King Parish, Archbald. She remained an active member of the Choo Choo Bells Centennial Group.
Marilyn was known for her open door to friends and neighbors. They were always there for her, especially in her time of need. We extend a special thank you to Elaine, Bridget, Ann B., Mallory and Patrick for all the love and care they gave to Marilyn. The family extends a sincere thank you to Dr. Harmar Brereton, Dr. Martin Hyzin-ski and staff, and Dr. Julie Speicher. We also thank the nurses and staff on the eighth floor of Regional Hospital.
Surviving are three brothers, John and wife, Marian, Endicott, N.Y.; Robert and wife, Marian, Scott Twp.; and William, at home; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald. Interment will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery Archbald.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements by the Harrison Funeral Home, 374 N. Main St., Archbald.
