Mark Patrick Clancey, 62, of Henryville, died at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022.
Born in Scranton on Nov. 27, 1959, he was the son of the late Jay Cordel Clancey, who died Aug. 19, 1980, and Donna Ellis Clancey Reese, who died May 22, 2022.
Patrick was of Catholic faith. He served our country in the United States Navy as a Seabee. He worked for more than 30 years in the drilling industry, most recently at Warren George Inc., Jersey City, N.J. He was a handyman who enjoyed working, gardening, cooking and bonfires.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Chris Clancey, who died Jan. 3, 2010; and stepdad, Reese Reese, who died Aug. 9, 2002.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Clancey; his children, Caitlin Elizabeth, Ryan Patrick (Danielle), Brendan John (Erin Petrosky), Dylan Reese (Jenna Seese), all of the Poconos; two brothers, Michael Clancey (Melissa), of Limerick; and Steven T. Clancey, of Factoryville; granddaughter, Emilia Clancey; and several nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
Blessing service will be Friday, Sept. 30, at noon at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 33 Reynolds St., Factoryville, with the Rev. Arbogaste Satoun presiding.
Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. Interment will take place at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville.
