Michael Angelo Carrubba, 73, of Dunmore, passed away Wednesday afternoon at home.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Angelo Ralph and Mary Louise Frontuto Carrubba, he was a graduate of Dunmore High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Prior to retirement, he worked at Electric City Harley Davidson in the sales department.
Mike was a motorcycle enthusiast and was an avid fan of Penn State football and the former Cleveland Indians.
He was a loving and supportive father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving is a son, Anthony, wife Ashley, and grandson, Zane, all of Tooele, Utah; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Carrubba.
Services will be held on Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, conducted by Rev. Robert Lozinski of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Dunmore. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Dunmore Police Department, 402 S. Blakely St., Dunmore, PA 18512.
