Shawn Jerauld Obituary

Shawn Cecelia Jerauld passed peacefully at home, July 25, 2024.

Shawn was born Feb. 9, 1955 to Clayton and Marion Taylor. She grew up in Beaumont and graduated from Tunkhannock High year early. On Aug. 25, 1979, she married Hal Jerauld. They were blessed with two sons, Bly and Joseph.

She worked as a real estate agent then attended LCCC and became a registered nurse. Shawn wore many hats as a nurse working in neurology, post surgical, inpatient psychiatry and numerous travel nursing positions. Her most coveted role as a nurse was in a veterans' facility.

She was an avid baseball fan and a die hard Cubs fan. Her boys made sure got to see her Cubbies in person in July of 2021.

Shawn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her most loved dog, Max. She is survived by her children, Joe and Ashley, Bly and Cassidy; grandchildren, Lucas, Tucker, Lauren, Adam, Halle Jo and Emily; and sister, Tona Evans.

Visitation hours will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes Inc., i33 Reynolds St., Factoryville, PA 18419.
