Stephen Shaffer Obituary
Born in Scranton, son of the late Benjamin and Lenore Jacobs Shaffer, he was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and went on to receive both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Scranton. Before his illness, he was employed at J&J Snack Foods Co., a division of Mia Products in Moosic. A dedicated and much loved employee, and a devoted and caring friend and neighbor, he will be missed.
He is survived by cousins.
Graveside services will be held today at 1 p.m. in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi Dovid Saks.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
Arrangements and care provided by Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., Dunmore.
