Thomas Correll, 65, of Old Forge, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at home. His wife of 42 years is the former Barbara Pilger.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Mildred Englehardt Correll. Tom was a well-known auto mechanic. He was highly respected and trusted by his customers.
Also surviving are cousins, Mary Louise Franco and husband, Peter, and Elizabeth Dominick and husband, Robert; mother-in-law, Laura Pilger; brother-in-law, George Pilger and wife, Melanie; sister-in-law, Lisa Pilger Angelo and husband, Pete; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, Richard Correll; aunt and uncle, Jack and Mary Englehardt; cousin, William Englehardt; and father-in-law, Aaron Pilger Sr.
Per Tom's wishes, funeral services and interment in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst were held privately.
Arrangements were under the care and direction of the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton.

Tom was a great guy who made sure his customers were always satisfied. Whenever I needed anything pertaining to my cars, Tom would be the first person I would call during his time at Jack Williams on Wyoming Ave. May you rest in peace my friend. Job well done! God Bless.
