FUNERAL HOME

Trudy Jackson Obituary

Today, Trudy went home to Heaven to be with her Savior. She will be meeting up with her son, Lowell and many family and friends who went on before her. Surviving her are Wayne Jackson, her husband of nearly 65 years; Dr. Kenneth Jackson; Craig Jackson and wife, Melody; Mary Ogazoly and husband, Mark; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Janes.

As a Christian, Trudy accepted servant hood to serve her Savior. Her immediate family came first, attaining a five-star rating. Also, there were her favorite dinner parties, the every Sunday dinner for close family and a few new people she would just invite from church, as well as the summer parties for family and friends. Her biggest disappointment was when she could no longer do for others due to her illness, however, a lot of family and friends came through for her. Thank you to all of the medical staff that cared for her and a special thank you to Dr. Rao for his compassion, Denise from the ER and Penny from Hospice.

The funeral will be Friday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services LLC in Spring Brook Twp., to be conducted by Rev. Jim Sheridan. Interment will be private.

Viewings will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, May 22 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wayne-Pike Child Evangelism Fellowship, P.O. Box 628, Honesdale, PA 18431-0628. To leave an online condolence, please visit the funeral home's website.
