William Edward Krause, 62, of Jermyn, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2022.
Son of the late Paul and Nora Lidey Krause, William was a loving brother, father, grandfather and uncle. He was a mechanic who loved cars of all makes and models. He also loved to pass his knowledge down to his family and friends. Bill was an avid fisherman and in his own mind, the best.
He is survived by his children, William Edward Krause Jr., Jeffrey Wayne Krause and Catrina Marie Krause Scriven; sisters, Carol Smith and Shirley McKeel; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister, Catherine Taylor; and brother, Carl (Buddy) Krause.
Friends and family may visit at the Charles A. Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington Ave., Jermyn, Sunday, from 3 to 5 p.m.

I am so very sorry for your loss, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Bill was truly great guy to work with and we will miss him.. I will remember how all the kids that came in loved to watch him work and he would always stop to say hello to them with a huge smile. God bless your family.

I will miss uncle billy so much! He was always so kind and helpful to me in the 3 years I got to know him. Ivy will also miss barking at him until she got her petting when he'd come in the gate. Lily will also miss him very much. So sorry to the family for your loss.
