Leon "Lee" C. Zander, age 70, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Marlette Hospice Residence.
He was born December 4, 1945 in Port Huron, son of the late Richard and Avonne (Jeske) Zander. Lee and Diana Manchester married on September 18, 1965 in Port Huron.
Lee was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Lexington.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diana; daughter Cynthia (Steven) Thompson; 3 grandchildren, Dana (Christopher) Hudzinski, Tara and Emma Thompson; 1 great grandchild, Emily Hudzinski; 3 brothers, Richard, Donald, and Michael.
Lee is preceded in death by a son Stephen April 22, 1986, and sister Dawn C. Perry December 12, 2007.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 28 at the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell. Rev. Kay Houck, Trinity Episcopal Church Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Elk Twp. Cemetery.
Visiting will be from 2-9 PM Tuesday, and 10-11 AM Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, due to severe allergies, please consider donations to Trinity Episcopal Church or United Hospice Services of Marlette.
